Meet Kazumi

Hi, welcome!!!

My name is Kazumi meaning harmony in Japanese. About a year ago I became a caregiver for sweet 70 years old woman who was diagnosed as Alzheimer's about 7 years ago and had stroke about a year ago. When I became her care giver, it was after her stroke so she was not able to do anything for herself and living in a totally different reality from we were so we could not communicate at all.  And, first a few months, I watched her went down to the point where her face got so hard like a zombie and she was hardly awake, maybe a few hours a day, and hardly ate anything. But, she has such a sweet spirit and I love her very much!

I have seen and heard so many people suffer from taking care of their loved one...because of no hope of recovery, too much responsibility and burden to carry spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. I am kind of a person who cannot accept what people may assume "impossible." I also know that if you give your body what it needs, it can heal itself. Anything is truly possible with help from God. When our time to leave from here, God will take us no matter what. But, as long as we are here on this earth, we have choice to live quality of life.

With our incorporation of giving her body what it needs, I am blessed to be a witness of this woman's recovery. She is awake longer, eats three, four times better, is funnier, smiler, can communicate with us, just so many positive changes... that may appeared to be "impossible."
I want to share about so many exciting events as well as trials and tribulation and yet sums up to be blessing through this caregiving journey.

Faith + Work = Miracle
Kazumi
